Coastal Behavior Care wants every family to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with disabilities.
What we have done
- Clear headings and page structure, so the site is easy to move through with a screen reader
- Text descriptions for meaningful images
- Text and background colors chosen for strong contrast
- Keyboard access throughout, including the menu and the contact form
- Labels and instructions on every contact form field
- Pages that adjust to phones, tablets, and computers
Ongoing work
We review the site when content changes and check it with both automated tools and hands-on testing. This site links to some websites run by others, and we cannot control how accessible those sites are.
