Meet Erin

Erin Connelly, M.Ed, BCBA • Founder

My work begins with getting to know your child. I discover what brings them joy, how they communicate, and what helps them feel connected. I bring warmth, curiosity, and clinical experience to each relationship, and I create space for children to feel comfortable being themselves and for caregivers to feel heard and supported.

Education

Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis, Florida Institute of Technology
Master’s in Early Childhood Special Education, University of Colorado Denver
Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Special Education, Providence College

I’m Erin Connelly, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and the founder of Coastal Behavior Care.

I began my career over a decade ago as a Registered Behavior Technician, working directly with children and families. Once I earned my Board Certified Behavior Analyst credential, I became a case supervisor and then a regional clinic director, supporting both children, families, and the clinicians who cared for their children. Each role shaped how I work today. Direct care taught me to notice the small moments that matter. Leadership taught me how important it is for families to feel heard and for everyone supporting a child to work together. I believe deeply in the power of interdisciplinary care and embrace working with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for all children I work with.

I started Coastal Behavior Care to bring that experience into a more personal practice. I want to take the time to really get to know your child; what they enjoy, what comes easily, what feels hard, and what matters most to your family. From there, we can create meaningful goals and practical strategies that fit into everyday life.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in play, routines, and connection. I believe caregivers deserve a place to ask questions, talk through struggles, and feel like an active part of their child’s care.

I founded Coastal Behavior Care to offer thoughtful, individualized support grounded in honest communication and meaningful relationships with families. I want you to feel heard, involved, and confident in the support your child receives.

Outside of work, I love walking my golden retriever Teddy on the Strand, going to Pilates, spending time with friends and family, or reading a good book. Life by the ocean in the South Bay is good!
